Our History
Fat Dogs is owned by Wilkinson Companies. We are a family of companies throughout the great state of Nebraska!
Our original Fat Dogs brand delivers dependability from one edge of the state to the other – with locations spanning I-80 from Lincoln to Sidney. Lincoln, Grand Island, Lexington, Ogallala, North Platte, and Sidney host Fat Dogs convenience stores.
We depend on our drivers to fuel all of our sites. Our drivers meet the demands of our customers 365 days, 24/7!
We own and operate our own Subway at our Ogallala location. Additionally, we partner with Subway franchise owners in North Platte at our Time Saver Truck Stop location at Exit 177 South of I/80.
Time Savers in North Platte are fueled by Phillips 66. These Fat Dog affiliate gas stations offer their own unique qualities and are also conveniently located both North and South of Interstate 80 in North Platte.
Our small business, small crew catering business. We cater and coordinate meetings at our lodging partners in North Platte, NE and cater off site events and meetings.
Delivering the best in Midwest hospitality, our hotel brands include Holiday Inn Express, Best Western Plus and Comfort Inn. We also own a smaller original brand, North Platte Inn and Suites, designed with extended stays in mind.

Fat dog amenities
We have 5-head showers, a laundromat, oversized leather chairs next to charging outlets, and much, much more. Our amenities were designed with long drives in mind! (Amenities will vary by location.)
